While completely blindsided by Shoto's generosity (really, it was a lot.), Sandalphon took it upon himself to choose a Pokémon so that he wouldn't have to deal with any grief. At first, he was to nickname it Cerberus, but upon seeing how mellow and serious the Pokémon was, he opted to name it Shiva instead.
